Bayoush’s jewellery line is inspired by the organic movement of nature. Vancouver’s natural setting is an ideal location for local craftsmanship and design. The name Bayoush means ‘if only they can see you’ in Amharic the Ethiopian national language. The designer, Bayoush Mengesha, also gathers her inspiration from her Ethiopian heritage and her travels around the world. The natural beauty she has witnessed around the globe has motivated her. Twisted lines and turns mimic our perfectly imperfect natural earth, like vines and branches refusing to grow against a ruler, spiralling on their own path.  At a young age, the designer, Bayoush Mengesha, created pieces for friends and family. This jewellery line is made out of love and supported by love. Hobby turned into career, Bayoush continues artistic innovations through experimental art, honing her technique and inventing new methods of fabrication.
